Not just a disaster because the Lakers lost. No, no, no, no, no, no. A disaster and an embarrassment for the NBA based on the way crunch time went in this game.

And it wasn't even anything that impacted the Lakers or changed the game for the Lakers.

It was an embarrassment in the way that this game was handled in how many stoppages we saw.

We saw 15 seconds of action in 20 minutes of stoppage time due to technical problems due to reviews that were very obvious what was going on.

And the league spent more and more and more time replaying the same things over and over and over again.

Fans in the arena started getting upset.

Players got frustrated.

LeBron James started slam with slamming the ball down on the floor

because he was sick of sitting around waiting for them to figure it out.

Embarrassing night for the league, unfortunately, also a loss for the Lakers.

And then also a disaster in that they lost Anthony Davis due to an injury.

This really was the play of the game.

Change the game.

Anthony Davis injured, I believe it was near the end of the first quarter,

when he got hit in the eye, has now a corneal abrasion,

could not return to the game.

That essentially, that moment essentially decided the outcome right there

because the Lakers, they could not get any stops without Anthony Davis,

and that effectively ended that game.

Now, should the Lakers have been able to adapt and overcome,

should the Lakers have put up more of a fight?
