Lane. The Lakers do fall to the Oklahoma City Thunder game, which at first it looked like they

were not going to play their main guys. The Lakers were not. They were going to rest guys to get

ready for the second night of a back-to-back tomorrow in Dallas. Instead, the Lakers went for it and they come up short.

However, I know most of you in the chat are probably ready to get into this.

It was not under normal circumstances that the Lakers lost this game.

It was 100% the referees fully in the spotlight on this one and ejecting incorrectly,

by the way, ejecting Luca Donchage in the fourth quarter amid a myriad of mistakes that the

officiating crew made over the course of a horrendous game from them, especially a high profile

matchup like this.

Bad, bad look for the NBA when officiating crew inserts themselves into a game to this degree.

Took a game that was exciting, that was close, that was fun, and essentially ended it on their own whistle in the fourth quarter.

Rough to see.

And we've got plenty of talk about, obviously, with that one.

This is a atrocious.

And I'm curious to see what the Lakers are going to say after the game.

I'm hoping that this is one of those cases where they go ahead and take the fines and say what they need to about the crew because obviously a disservice was done by the officials this game.

JJ Reddick said as of this point he has not heard anything from about what happened.

He said apparently Lucas said something to a fan and that caused him to get

ejected from the game. But regardless, this is the way the game played out. Now, we could say at this

point, the decision to play their guys in this game proved to be an incorrect one because they

lost the game. I don't think they didn't get anything from it. I thought the Lakers, they took OKC's best punch, and they showed that they could hang with this team, that they can play with this team, and it took the officials becoming very, very involved in this game late to turn it into a Thunder win. Now, the Thunder may have won anyway. We don't know. We don't know. Unfortunately, we didn't get to find out how this game was actually going to end because the officials ended that. But this was, I think, a pretty good performance from the Lakers through most of it. I thought they did a nice job. The turnovers, way too many. Can't turn the ball over this much against OKC. And a number of times, too, they were unforced turnovers that the Lakers were making. That's obviously got to be cleaned up. They gave up a lot of offensive rebounds. But I thought the big takeaway from this game was the Thunder are not invincible. Thunder have had a great season. They're a very good team. They're not invincible.
