I'm Trevor Lane. The Lakers lose game two to the Oklahoma City Thunder, 125 to 107.

Some progress made in some key areas.

Unfortunately, a big step back in the turnover column.

And ultimately, the Lakers are right back where they were in game one with an 18 point

loss uh today i've got joining me from espn it's gregg bergman great happy to see you my friend

how are you doing what's going on trevor i would be better if that second half turned out just

a little bit differently that was the first half was certainly more fun.

The Lakers went in a halftime, up one,

but ultimately could not pull this off,

couldn't get the W when they needed it,

now down 2O in the series.

A lot that we can get into here,

but let's start with LeBron James.

LeBron, 23 points in this one, six assists, two rebounds, three steals.

You know, was this an explosive LeBron James performance? Was this just a next level

LeBron performance? No, but this was, I thought, a fine outing for LeBron overall.

He gave you enough. I don't think he was the cause of the Lakers' loss here.

No, not at all. This wasn't vintage LeBron by any means, but at the same time, he did enough

to help them to get to where they were in the first half. Without him on the floor, it was a completely different game. This wasn't something that when he was on the floor, the offense ran smoother. He was in more in control of things when he was on there. So I don't know what the exact plus minus was. Obviously with the 18 points, it's going to be skewed. But at the same time, him on the floor was better for the Lakers than him off the floor. Oh, big time. Absolutely. LeBron on the floor makes a huge difference for L.A. Rui Hachamuro continued his great shooting, 4-07 from three. Again, knocking those in, 16 points for Rui. Like what we saw out of him there, he continues to be a playoff riser, an excellent shooter in the playoffs.

A bounce back game for Austin Reeves, who struggled mightily.
