The Lakers fall to the Brooklyn Nets.

Oh, it was not pretty for certain stretches of this game.

There were some points that looked really good.

The Lakers were actually up seven with two minutes and 30 seconds to play in the third.

But they wind up losing the game

121 to 104. Yikes. So you get blown out in the end at a moment there. It looks like the

Lakers might hang on and maybe even get the upset win. Remember, no LeBron, no Anthony Davis,

no Austin Reeves still in this game now for the nets

they were not whole either no kevin durant no ben simmons or this game for the brooklyn nets but the

nets came in as a nine point favorite they were a heavy favorite here and the lakers it looked

like it finally figured some things out and then at about the two minute and thirty second mark

at the end of the third towards the

third quarter everything fell apart from there on it was basically all Brooklyn Nets for the

remainder of the game the Nets started the game shooting incredibly hot they were great from behind

the arc and they and then that started to tail off and the Lakers started to going to run in the third. And then the Nets shooting came back around. Really, in a game like this, and I talked about this a little bit in the pregame with Mark Gunnells, talked about it during the game on the live stream over on playback, in a game like this where you don't have LeBron, you don't have Anthony Davis, you probably need a few things to happen.

So you need the Nets to have a subpar shooting night.
