What's up, everybody? Welcome into Lakers Nation live post game show. I've got bad news and I've got worse news for you.

Bad news. Trevor Lane, not here tonight. But I'm Jeff Spiegel, joined tonight by Anthony Wattano, host of the Dodgerheads podcast over on Dodger Blue 1958, part of the medium large sports network.

But the worst news, folks, is the Lakers were stunned by the Charlotte Hornets tonight. They give up 37 points in the

first half, Anthony, and then 63 big ones in the second half. Luca Donchich continues to struggle

as he works his way back into shape, back from injury where he missed six weeks. There are lots of

directions to go, Anthony, but I want to start here.

The Lakers were up 65 to 52 with four minutes left in the third quarter.

And Charlotte went on a 23 to one run.

In the midst of that, Austin Reeves ejected, which we'll get to.

But the Lakers defensively in the second half allowed 63 points to

one of the worst teams in basketball. Yeah, brutal. I thought that the rotations were pretty

slow, but they were all night, though. I think what happened was they got away with it in the

first half because Charlotte shot the ball terribly. Caught a little fire after that

initial start for them. And then the offense went cold for the Lakers. Like you said, like a 23 to 1 run.

They could not put the ball in the basket. And then you get late in the game. And when it matters,

you get to the free throw line, you miss two, that's huge.

Yeah.

And, you know, free throws have been a problem for the Lakers in the clutch for like three seasons now.

And this was just more of that.

Yeah, I'm with you.

You mentioned the two missed free throws from really eight for 12 from the line total in this game.

But there were those three plays.
