joining me from Los Angeles, California. In between road games for the Lakers in Sacramento

and Denver, he was going to Denver tomorrow where the Lakers will try to run their winning streak

to six games. Dave, I don't, Dave McMendorman, you know how much I love talking about the Lakers on

this pod. I thought you don't talk about the Lakers on this pod, right? But right now,

they're actually somewhat warranted of the conversation or warranting the conversation, I'd say,

because it's the longest win streak currently in today's NBA, which is not a small feat,

considering obviously Anthony Davis being out, but also throwing in Lonnie Walker,

Troy Brown Jr. in Austin Reeves, three of their younger more athletic switchable defenders,

that they haven't had either, but they're plugging in the gaps and taking advantage of some

wonderful games on this schedule. Yeah, I mean, look, I mean, my point on the Lakers, I've made it

recently is that, okay, we know they're not going to win the title, all right? You know, they had

something cooking a little bit there with Anthony Davis getting hot in December. He heard his foot,

and so we have to adjust our expectations, and the Lakers are performing well,

and that, you know, if we're going to pile on them when they were 30th and offense and couldn't

make a shot, then we need to acknowledge when they're playing better. And, you know, we frankly

need to acknowledge what LeBron is doing. You had a sit down with LeBron on Friday, I believe it was

Friday. It was. Can we just pull the curtain back a little bit if you don't mind? I believe it had

been with the exception of the 2020 title in the bubble, where I believe he did like a post-game

interview with ESPN because it's traditional after you wouldn't championship to do that.

I don't think he'd given a sit down ESPN in four or five years, Dave, is that about right?

Yeah, it had been about four years. Him and I sat down at a hotel in Hollywood for about a half
