unfortunately, finishing off 2023 with a loss. A loss to the Pelicans drops them to 500.

Now a 17 and 17 record on the season,

certainly not what we were hoping for to close us out.

It's been a long December for this Lakers team.

They're three and eight since winning the in-season tournament.

And they've suffered some really difficult losses.

This one, one where it just

looked like they didn't have a whole lot in the tank. Second night of a back-to-back on the road

included a three-hour flight from Minnesota all the way to New Orleans and the Lakers, not surprisingly,

didn't have much gas in the tank. We'll talk a little bit about that. We'll talk about the injury to Rui Hachamura, what that might mean.

Moving forward, injuries also knocking other players out of this game prior to the game,

including DeAngel Russell and Cam Reddish and what this means for the team's rotation.
