I'm Pete, joined by Darius and Mike. But this time it's a different Mike. Today we're doing a draft preview. And I'm very excited to have joining us. Mike Garcia. I have known Mike since 2005. And there is no one whose

opinions I trust more on the draft than him. So very excited to have you on, Mike. Thank you for

joining us. Thank you guys for having me. I appreciate it. Absolutely, man. And so what we're going to do

is we're going to separate this in kind of two different parts. And it may be a two-part podcast, depending on how deep into the weeds that we get.

And so the first part is going to be ready to contribute, guys.

The Lakers front offices in scouting department has done a great job of finding kind of these three, four-year college players,

Jordan Clarkson, Larry Nance,

Kyle Kuzma, Josh Hart, that are solid players that are in their early 20s, ready to contribute

right away. However, those were not championship contenders, right? And so when I say ready to

contribute, that does not necessarily mean I expect

that at 22 or wherever we end up drafting if we trade up or trade down, that we're going to

find somebody who's going to be on the court in game seven of the NBA finals. However, I'm looking

for guys who can possibly be in the rotation during the regular season and can be contributors

here and there in a playoff series, maybe spot minutes,

similar to what we saw from THT here and there.
