Hello, everybody. Welcome in to the Lakersnation.com podcast. I am Trevor Lane. It is game day. Lakers versus Knicks tonight.

Joining me on the show today is Sean Davis. Sean, we got a game tonight. It feels like it's been longer than it really has.

It's been just a few days, but I think that Spurs loss,

it's just been kind of prolonging the agony,

the fact that the Lakers had two days off between.

We've had too much time to stew over that Spurs loss.

I hope the team feels the same way,

and they come out a little extra motivated tonight against the NICS

because I'm still bothered by what we saw in San Antonio.

Yeah, it does feel really, really long. Does in a sense, we've last seen a Lakers game.

And hopefully the Lakers come out tonight against the Knicks, play pissed off. And hopefully

it results to a win. They, you know, write the wrongs of that spurs loss. You know, part of it is that game, I don't even know if I can call it really a Lakers game because it just, it sure didn't feel like the same team that we've seen. And I guess, you know, we do need to get into the injury report. We'll get into the Lakers versus Nick's matchup. But let's start there.

I mean, the Lakers, they win the in-season tournament.

That's got fans excited.

Everybody is fired up.

Everybody's, you know, making a big deal out of it.

And rightfully so.

It's a big accomplishment to be the first ever tournament champions here for the NBA.

There's going to be a banner going up.

Some people may not like that, but there's going to be a banner going up. Some people may not like that,

but there's going to be a banner going up in Crypto.com Arena.

And then they follow that up.
