Lane NBA. Your Lakers pick up the win over the Phoenix Suns, although I have a feeling that

when we get into the chat, most people are not going to be too thrilled with that game.

It was a lackluster performance to say the least from the majority of the

Lakers. Not everybody. A few of the guys had solid performances and we'll certainly talk about that.

But the Lakers just kind of had a flat outing against a Sun's team that essentially rested

everybody. Kevin Duran, Chris Paul, Devin Booker, DeAndre Aiton, even T.J. Warren did not play in this game.

So it was the Lakers essentially against the Sun's bench.

And the Lakers, for much of the game, didn't look all that interested in playing.

The energy level was not there.

The attention to detail was not there.

The focus wasn't there.

But the result, you got what you need it. You got the win that

you needed. And that's the most important part here is that they got the win. They keep themselves

in the mix here for potentially the sixth seed doesn't seem likely given the fact that the

kings decided to bench everybody as well against the Warriors tonight, which will essentially concede it a win over to the Warriors. And that makes it that much more difficult for the Lakers to get into that six seed. But nonetheless, the Lakers got the wind that they needed, keeps them in the mix, maybe for the seven seed. We'll see how it all plays out. It's kind of a mess in the Western Conference. We'll talk about that a bit more. But again, I don't

think Lakers fans are coming away from this, feeling great. Although I will say this on the positive
