Technically, the season is still going, but let's face it,

we already have moved ahead to offseason stuff.

So we've got a lot to dive into today about what the Lakers are going to do moving forward. Joining me is Sean Davis from Lakers Nation.com.

John, have you accepted the fact that the Lakers will not be in the playoffs this year? Like,

has it really set in at this point? Yeah, I think it's set in now. I think it's set in maybe after I watched your post game show. And I think watching that, again, I think that's what it kind of set in for me. I was like, wow, the Lakers really, again, I don't think anybody thought it was going to be this bad. I still think we all thought the Lakers would be a playoff team. But I think it's set in a little bit. Has it set in for you at all now?

Yeah, I feel like I'd kind of come to accept it like a couple of days before that final

games. We kind of knew, like math-wise, that it wasn't going to happen. But it's still weird.

It's still weird. And of course, a lot of fans from other teams, a lot of other teams right now.

If you look at what the Pelicans are doing, they're clowning on the Lakers and trying to take shots of them and all that. I just hope the Lakers will keep a nice list of all the teams that are saying things right now. And remember that when things come back around. But we do a lot to get into today. And I do want to mention that it's going to be a very busy offseason for the Los Angeles Lakers.

I think there's going to be a lot of turmoil, a lot of turnover. It's going to look like a brand new team next year.
