So to kick things off, I want to get into a couple of news items here. Some of you may have kind of already heard some of this stuff,

but I'm going to get through pretty quick

because these are the biggest stories heading into, well, what's going to be the final preseason game coming up on Thursday against the Phoenix Suns. So let's start here with Jared Vanderbilt. His health, we don't know what's going to happen here. It sounded for a few days there. It was sounding like Jared Vanderbilt. You know, this isn't a concern. It's a heel issue that he's dealing with.

And Darvindham didn't seem worried at all about him playing opening night against the Denver

Nuggets. Now suddenly it's we'll see where things stand. He's already been declared out

for Thursday's game, not officially, but Darvindham has said he's not getting re-evaluated until Friday.

So that tells us Vando is out for Thursday's game against the Phoenix Suns, which means he will have appeared in just one preseason game.

That's the first game for the Lakers.
