An easy blowout win for the Lakers. Unfortunately, it does not look like as we're keeping tabs on what's going on around the NBA.

The Grizzlies are not going to beat the Sacramento Kings. And overtime had a shot to beat them in regulation.

No help there on that one. But the Warriors lost tonight and with the Lakers winning 136 to

105, that pushes the Lakers back up to the nine seed in the Western Conference, moves them ahead

of Golden State. Now, this is a step, right? We've talked about this. The Lakers, they went through the most difficult part of their schedule now. That's over. Now it's going to lighten up a little bit. You have to take advantage. I'm not going to say it's likely the Lakers are going to move all the way up to seven or eight. Frankly, I think you need Phoenix to drop a lot of games to get there, but this is a step in that direction. The Lakers picking up not just a win, but a big cruise to victory, wire to wire W. Well, not quite

wire to wire. You did have a little bit of a rough start to this game, but a game in which

you dominated, again, you wind up winning by 30. Nice win. And one that we've needed for a while now.

This is the kind of victory the Lakers have needed,

one in which they absolutely crush their opponent.

We don't have this kind of close game where the Lakers have to worry about coming back

late or anything like that.

DeAngelo Russell ties Nick Van Exel for the single season.

Lakers record and three-pointers made.

He'll look to break that record on Friday, 27 and 10 for DeLo, 6 of 10 for 3,

25 and 10 for LeBron, 22, 15, 6 and 2 for Anthony Davis.

He had a great game. Austin Reeves with 12, 6 and 4, 11 out of Max Christy. The Lakers shoot 42% from 3. Remember, this is the second best three-point shooting team in the NBA. Since the trade deadline, the Lakers also shoot 58% from the field.

The Hawks, it's exactly what we hoped would happen.

The Hawks shot better than 50% from three last night against the Clippers.

We hope that not only would the Hawks be a little bit tired after last night's game,

I think we did see that, but also that regression would hit the Hawks three-point shooting.
