Hello, Lakers Nation. Welcome in Trevor Lane here for LakersNation.com. You're home for everything. Lakers. This is the Lakersnation.com live post game show. The Lakers followed the Chicago Bulls 1.15 to 110. Pretty exciting game was close all the way down the stretch. Lakers had opportunities to win this. Surprising, considering how often they turned the ball over and how many offensive

rebounds they gave up. But that was just how efficient their offense was in other areas.

They were hot shooting the ball. And so that allowed this thing to be a lot closer than you

would have expected than a typical game where you've got, well, what is it,

19 turnovers for the Lakers and 16 offensive rebounds for the Chicago Bulls.

Typically, that's the recipe for a blowout.

But no, the Lakers were right there.

In fact, I thought they might sneak away with a win here at the end, but just came up short on the last few possessions and then had an opportunity to tie the game. Unfortunately, two good looks from three, both of them missed. But we're going to dive into it. I can't even watch this team anymore. They're not making it out of the first round.

If that, I couldn't disagree more in terms of watchability of this game.

I thought this was a very exciting game.

This was a game where I didn't come away from this thinking the Lakers completely blew it.

Yes, the turnovers were bad.

The free throw shooting was bad. There were areas where they made mistakes, but the Lakers showed up. The Lakers showed up for this one. And maybe that's a very low bar to clear. But last game against the wolves, the Lakers didn't show up. The energy wasn't there. The effort wasn't there. Tonight, we had an opportunity here where the Lakers almost stole a win in Chicago.

And I know the Bulls are a little bit shorthand.

I mean, they're missing Zach Levine.

And then some of their reserve guys, the Lakers had four players.

They had two starters, two rotation guys.
