The Lakers get the win that they needed over the Brooklyn Nets.

116 to 99, ultimately a 17 point win for the Lakers.

Certainly a frustrating game from the Lakers perspective.

It took a while for them to really get going, but they went on an 18 to 5 run to close out the fourth quarter in the final six minutes.

Did the Nets just tank?

Was that part of that there?

The Nets didn't play some guys down the stretch.

Kind of went away from the players that were having the most success, maybe a factor in this one. But nonetheless, the Lakers also stepped it up on both sides of the ball over the final six minutes, did what they had to do, and got the win. Yeah, look, I'm seeing people in the chat saying, you shouldn't, people shouldn't be complaining about a 17 point win. I get it. Like with the dust settles,

you're up 17. Like, come on. That's a dominant win, right? Except the bulk of the game was not

dominant at all. In fact, the Nets took the lead multiple times. They hung around the entire game.

The Lakers just could not get separation. And then finally turned it on late in the game.

You can see the

Lakers were not putting in the extra efforts. The second efforts were not there from the Lakers

defensively on the glass. The Nets were giving them all kinds of problems. And this is literally

the worst offense in the NBA by a wide margin. And the Lakers were struggling to get stopped.

So I do think that some frustration is warranted and can't just be dismissed by,

but they won by 17, right?

Oh, but they won by 17.

You can't complain all that.

They needed a win for sure.

But 44 minutes of this game, 45 minutes of this game, 43 minutes of this game was pretty rough.
