Heart disease and stroke claim the lives of more women than all forms of cancer combined,

yet we remain underrepresented in cardiovascular research by over 60%.

That's a problem. For too long, we've been left out of research and

treated largely based on the scientific findings found in men. We now know more about the

differences between men and women,

including the fact that we may experience different heart disease

and stroke symptoms than men.

Research provides the foundation for our doctors to treat us and we deserve to be accounted

for and the findings to ensure the care we receive is tailored to our needs.

Initiative to form the largest most engaged women's health community focused

on closing the gender gap in research.

Narrow the gender and racial bias in research through focus groups, surveys, or sign up to contribute to research

to studies that dig deep into emotional well-being, maternal health, and the connection to heart

disease and stroke. The more we know about women and our overall health the more lives we can

save for generations to come.
