We're going to now talk with Tony Strickland, the state senator.

Last segment, I'll explain to you if you don't know what the issue is with

this redistricting idea in, that could be on the ballot in November. Gavin Newsom, he wants to

fight back against Texas redrawing their congressional district lines. You know, that's where the

legislators have abandoned the state,

the Democrats, and gone off to Chicago. So there's not going to be a vote in Texas. The governor

and the Republicans who are in charge want to redraw the districts so there are fewer Democrats

in Congress.

That's Texas's issue.

Newsom has decided that he's got a fight for the Democrats,

so he wants to redraw the lines here in California

so that there might only be three Republicans left in Congress from California.
