Book Riot. Welcome. We're hooray. Everybody's back. Everybody's back. You were at GeekyCon

for a while. I was. I was. It was delightful and I got to wear my modern day abhorsen

cosplay.

And you were in Seattle and you saw Adele.

I did.

I did.

I flew to the opposite side of the country to see Adele, who was excellent and very graciously acknowledged that all of her songs are super depressing, which I did not consider

before I went to see her.

Like, I'm going to spend this entire show sitting down being sad. So she tried to be funny and like bantery in between songs because she knew that her songs were upsetting. Yeah. So that was nice. I didn't even think about that. You can't really like dance to Adele. There's no dancing. There's no dancing. And her, her, um, her accent's really great. She's got the like cockney thing, which she plays up to an American audience to like good effect. She curses a lot. I love it. Anyway. Amazing. So I don't know how to segue. Maybe you were at geeky con, so let's talk about another.
