Breaking this morning, political history is playing out before our eyes as a turquoise tsunami washes across the country,

as Reform UK inflict seismic damage on Labour and the Tories.

Speaking just moments ago, their leader Nigel Farage has said,

now we can win the general election.

Well, we are going to speak to the biggest names in politics and journalism

for reaction to this extraordinary political event. We have the latest

figures at the moment. Reform UK have gained 349 seats. Labour have lost 25. The Conservatives have lost

136. The Greens potentially will be strong in the big cities, including London. The Lib Dem's

treading water, but it's all about Farage. So let's get reaction from the Deputy Leader of Reform

UK. Richard Tice. Good morning, Richard. Good morning to you, Mark. Well, it's been a remarkable

night. I've been in the West Midlands,

and I've been at a number of counts, and the results so far in the West Midlands are completely outstanding.

We're delighted, and elsewhere in the country. All over the areas in the the Midlands and the north known as the Red Wall, we have repainted it, Mark, in a bright, optimistic, turquoise wall.

And it's a much better wall for that repainting, frankly.

And Labour have been completely and utterly decimated, deservedly. So, and you

places like Hartlepool, 12 out of 12, northeast Lincolnshire, 14 out of 15. And many, many more

such results in Wigan. We've taken 22 out of 22 seats from Labour and in Tameside, incredible results there,

the heartland of Angela Rainer, and again, I think we've taken some 18 there. These are just truly seismic, seismic results.

It's like a sort of political earthquake registering about eight or nine on the Richter

scale.

Well, the results may be better than even reform anticipated.

Yes, I mean, we're obviously hopeful and we're more the more than merrier, so to speak.
