Yeah, we're in the Cheshire town of Runcorn, which sits at the mouth of the River Mersey.

It's a very industrial place.

There's chemical works that kind of loom over the town.

It's also home to Britain's largest waste incinerator.

It was recently voted one of the most boring places in Britain.

Roncorn and Helsby, to give the constituency its full name, is not at all boring, and there's plenty of green space and farmland alongside the belching chimneys.

Politically, it didn't used to be that interesting. It was a safe labour seat for decades.

And then its MP, Mike Amesbury, had a few too many pints and punched a constituent.

People still like Amesbury locally.

What he did was you can't condone it and he did it wrong and he's paid the ultimate price. I know a lot of people who've benefited from him as an MP.
