Hello and welcome to this week's episode of what most people think.

Now, first of I've got to thank the people that came to the Work in Progress shows in Dorkin and in Fairham last week. And at both gigs, right, Dorkin was a 170 seater.

I'd filled it, you know, pleased enough in that. But in the main room, there was 800 people watching

a video of mountain climbing, right? So then fast forward to Saturday, I did one in Fairham,

which is near Portsmouth. And I was in the 120thia.

Filled it, pretty happy with that.

In the main room, 850 people watching Shawaddy Wadi.

Now, I'm going to bring in my American guest now, Eric McElroy, making a welcome return to the show.

Eric, you're looking quizzically at the word shawadiwadi. I am. I've lived in the UK for only 25 years, so there's still layers that are being unpeeled for me. Should I know this as someone who does have a British passport now? Yeah, this is the point. Look, I'm not going to shop you to the citizenship people. You can relax, all right? It's not, it's not, deep. But I, yeah, Shawadiwadi were a band, I think, in the 70s. And it turns out, right, that they have been touring at a good level ever since. I mean, 800 non-punters is good numbers. So it was that thing where I was pleased with the numbers that I'd attracted

to both those venues, respectively, but also thinking, are we in the wrong game, Eric? You know,

just because there are these live events that sell well, like a watch-along film. But at least this is

the real band, right? This isn't a tribute band, right? This is the actual Shawadi Wadi. I don't know

if anybody watching would know. I think Shawaddy Wadi is such a, band, right? This is the actual Shawadi Wadi. I don't know if anybody watching would know. I think

brand name. And I said to

the venue manager, I was asking about

whether or not people dance.
