Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham right here on Talk Radio.

We're back from another exciting weekend,

and already the news agenda is bulging for the week ahead. Having failed in their bid to axe deputy leader Tom Watson ahead of their conference, Labor are now ploughing ahead with

a raft of policies for running the country into the ground. First up is their plan to abolish

private schools, even though Shadow Chancellor John McDonald says it'll never happen,

which previously I've said is a good idea.

But abolishing Ofsted, now that is surely just idiotic.

Over in New York, of course, Boris Johnson is dodging questions

about some money he gave to perform a poll dancer

while he was mayor of London.

His real mission is to talk climate change, trade with America,

and the crisis in the Gulf. We'll be crossing live to the United Nations as well as going live to Brighton

over the next three hours. On Brexit, Labour are still hedging their bets and hoping to back

both sides until one of them actually wins. Then they'll support them despite being the party

they say of Remain. It's all very confusing. We'll try and sort it
