Pensioners are going to die because of the Labour government's decision to scrap winter fuel payments for nine out of ten pensioners.

Let's not pull our punches here.

That's the truth. You might not like hearing the truth. You might think it sounds sensationalist or over dramatic but it's

true that is the practical impact of the government's policy and what's more the

government knows it as I'll explain now here's a summary of what is going on. As I said throughout the

election campaign, Labour's going to claim when they won that there was a massive

hole in the nation's finances after they secured the keys in order to justify cuts which they wanted to

avoid being scrutinized about before people voted. That is in fact

what happened and one of the ways they announced they were going to save money is

by this attack on the winter fuel pavement which helps pensioners with the cost of

energy over water. Note the Labour Party did not put this plan to the electorate during the election.

They did not ask voters what they thought about it.

They knew it was politically toxic, and we know Rachel Reese previously has called

for an attack in the woods of fuel payment years ago that was in the Ed

Miliband period so clearly she long had designs on this bit in the election campaign in the years

running up to the general election they did not be clear with the British public

that this is what they were intending to do which which they clearly were going to do all along.

Now the argument argument here is that they will means test winter fuel payments,

so the poorest pensions will still get the help they need while the richest don't.

Sounds reasonable that, doesn't it?
