This is Colin Miller, Associate Dean at the University of South Carolina School of Law and blog editor of evidence prof blog.

What I'm going to do today is answer 10 listener questions based upon our most recent crime stoppers episode of the podcast and last week's appearance on the docket with Seema Ire on shift MSNBC.

This first question comes from Sasha.

She asks, do we know what Hay and Adnan we're planning to do after high school,

go to college, start a career, etc. I thought it was

appropriate on Labor Day to start with this question to see the two dreams and career goals that

were lost back in 1999. Hey, we know, planned to become an optician. That's in part why she was

working at Lenscrafters during high school. We're not entirely sure what her college

plans were. Adnan had been accepted into University of Maryland, Baltimore County, as well as the

Scholars Program at University of Maryland College Park. He was going to be pre-med. That's in part

why he was working as an EMT. As part of the magnet program at Woodlawn, he was taking part in a research project.

He was working with a doctor at a VA hospital in the molecular diagnostics lab.
