Hey guys, it's Candice and Kayla and we are directionally challenged.

Yep, we thought we would have it all figured out by the time we were in our 30s.

But surprise, we don't.

Nope, we don't.

And that's okay.

I'm realizing more and more it's okay and most people don't and I'm grateful that we

have this to be able to remind each other that it is okay.

Today we're talking about something that is really near and dear to my heart and Candice,

I know you and I have discussed it before too.

Children in the foster care system.

Kayla, I'm really excited about today's episode because you've done something every

year that I've known you basically, which is a long time.

You go, you volunteer at this incredible camp every year for the most part and it's

a foster, it's a camp for foster kids, correct?

Yeah, so I've always had a really soft spot for kids in the foster care system.

My mom's a therapist and she started to work with kids in that area and so it was in my

life growing up.

And I've been a camp counselor to camp for kids in foster care for your right Candice over

a decade and it's something that really means a lot to me and the statistics are just mind

blowing.

So when you go to this camp, what does a day look like?
