What do you think of LA Clippers like being the official name of this?

You know, I think it's nice to have some distinction from the Los Angeles Lakers

Although it doesn't appear to have really taken traction like a lot of outlets still call them the Los Angeles Clippers

and there are most popular jerseys still say Los Angeles on them

So if it was a rebranding effort, I'm not sure how successful it was

But you know you get it dry things

Yeah, well those those outlets do not have one Danny the Roo working for them because Daniel Roo would never let them get away with calling them the Los Angeles Clippers

But yeah, I mean, maybe the thought is it's just like the Lakers are Los Angeles, you know, that's the the full name

It's that you know the people who call it Los Angeles are like old and stuffy and then the Clippers are like new and edgy

And they call it LA

Unfortunately, no actually it seems like all demographics prefer the Lakers, but

The weird thing to me is that it's not LA with like dots after the L and the A

Which yeah, just visually makes more sense to me, but I worry we've exhausted this topic already

Well, yeah, the New York Times copy editing is not forced to under put periods in there like they do with with NBA
