WH Park continues his journey down the Long & Winding Royal Road and joining him this week is JP Houlihan from the Grappl Spotlight podcast.
WH and JP discuss one of the most famous matches in the history of both All Japan Pro Wrestling and the entire industry: Mitsuharu Misawa vs. Jumbo Tsuruta from June 8, 1990.
They give a ton of background on the lead up to the match with a lot of details on how Misawa’s deadly elbow strikes were established during this time, how the feud encompassed Jumbo and Misawa’s respective factions, as well a comprehensive review of the match itself.
