Celtics Media Day was yesterday, and part of you guys waited around for four hours,

but there was a good thing that came out of that,

is that LeBron James spoke at the Cleveland Media Day and addressed Kyrie Irving.

That's right.

As we were waiting in Cleveland, he had sat down and someone asked him about,

you know, was there anything you could have done to keep Kyrie Irving there?

And he started going off about Kyrie Irving.

But the way it sounds, sounds a little bit more.

I heard the word I being used several times in this quote.

You don't say.

So this is LeBron, being as LeBron as it gets, speaking about Kyrie Irving.

Well, my initial thoughts when I heard that Kyrie wanted to be traded,

I had a ton of emotions.

You know, I was wondering if something I could have did better to make him not want to be traded.

Is it the way that the season finished or was it, uh, was it me coming back in the first place?

Uh, was it the coaching changes or the GM change?

Try to do whatever I could do to help the kid out, be the best player he can be.

Try to help him, you know, be a better leader, be a better score, a better, a better floor general, a better defender, a better pastor, getting guys involved, a better leader vocally.

I try to give him everything and give him as much of the DNA as I could, because like I told you guys throughout the season, at some point, when he was ready to take over the keys, I was ready to give him to him. Well, that's nice of him. You just listed a lot of things he needed help with. Well, yeah, it sounds like it. And given my DNA, as much my DNA as possible, it's kind of gross. So. Depends how you look at it. I guess so so. So Kyrie Irving. I wouldn't mind some of that DNA. Mm-hmm. So, Kyrie. He was coming around and we were speaking at Media Day and it was just not too much longer after LeBron made that statement that we got to speak to Kyrie Irving. Here he is yesterday at Media Day with me and John. 95 of SportsUp, it's Toucher and Rich, and we are here with a, I have to be honest, a gentleman that it still has not hit me yet, is a Boston Celtic. This has been one of these strangest processes of back and forth and back and forth, and now it's real, seeing that he's sitting here in his Celtics uniform, Mr. Kyrie Irving. How's it going, Kyrie?
