Well, my guest today asks this, do you bring your fears, anxieties, anger, struggles, and brokenness to God in prayer?

Or are there key things that you actually leave out?

What do you do when, like the psalmist, do you feel God has turned his face away?

Do you call out to him and seek his face? Or do you turn to

self-management? Try to fix what you think is a problem. We're talking today about honest prayer,

what to do with what you're really feeling on the inside. And can I just be honest? I see God moving

all around me in different places in my life, but this wretched chronic health battle that I've had for

30 years, it just, it seems like God's not budging on it, you know? It seems like he's not

speaking to me about it. And it even, to be honest, in the last week, it seemed like he's not

even listening to me about it. But I know that's not the case. It's just what it feels like. And so my response, after walking a long time with him,

yes, I'm a bit discouraged at moments, but I know he's good. I know he loves me and I love him.

And I'm going to just remember what I know to be true and rely on what I've heard. So here's my

question for you. Is there an area of your life that God seems to be ignoring, maybe not listening?

How are you feeling about that?

And what are you doing with what you feel?

I'm asking for some raw and honest text today.
