It feels great. Love and life except I fucked up. I fucked up Jesse back and I are friends even though we had that Julio Jones beef right great clear the cash show by the way killing it and he said Matt you should bid on this card this Tony Pollard rookie card signed on eBay. You probably get a good price on it and I was like oh man this is a good deal I can get this for under a hundred bucks.

So what I did was as a total eBay rookie making a rookie mistake on a rookie card well done right I was like oh man I just what do I have to over bid to get this I'll put in a price of 25% more than the current highest bid I'll be the high bidder right so if it's a hundred bucks I'll put it to 125 bucks that should get it right and this was like with an hour to go.

And boy did I fuck up because what you have to do on eBay is put the price that you are willing to pay that's what you need to bid and then you can get the card or not get the card and feel comfortable so what did I do I put in a price that was lower than I was willing to pay but thought oh I'll get a good deal.

This is a mistake this was a big mistake so I go on with five minutes to go and I'm still a high bidder and a fucking crazy thing happened Nate a crazy thing happened that this rookie was not ready for thought I was going to get the Tony Pollard rookie and here's my pile of rookie cards and as you can see there's no Tony Pollard there's just see there's just just full of the full of them see there's just full of them there's no there's no

there's no fucking Tony Pollard's his shot still coming I was willing to pay more but these fuckers rushed the stage they rushed the bidding in the last five seconds and I couldn't keep up I couldn't type fast enough I couldn't

get the button fast stuff on my mouse I was like I would bid more I'm gonna be like what no let me please what and I lost it I lost it for like 50 bucks less than I was actually

willing to pay because I thought I was getting a deal and I saw no reason I was like well if someone outbid me I'll just outbid them no big deal but that's not how the internet works that's not

internet auctions work there's no going once going twice sold it's it's five four three two one the last person who clicks their fucking mouse wins if you're trying to nickel and dime on eBay my

lesson that I learned the hard way losing out in a beautiful Tony Pollard rookie card was you don't nickel and dime when you want a card on eBay it's a fact I

mean we talk about that a lot on clear the cash it's like if you really want something be willing to spend a little more you don't want to lose out on a

card because you didn't want to spend 20 more dollars 30 more in this case 50 more whatever it is and I do you're right right at the end it's a

free for all and it's all about how fast you can put it in and what guys always try to do is they try to put in there's a mad

rush three to five more dollars than the current price and you hit enter and it goes somebody is already outbid you you're you're too late that's how

it goes I was like a deer in the headlights yeah I was like I should have just bid 200 yes instead of trying to get away with 150 I thought I was

being clever you can't out clever eBay you think your I haven't done like it's just so audacious of me to think that I was going to be more clever than

other collectors and the eBay platform given that my singular experience and collecting was the Travis Fulgen rookie card which is a bad buy

the way but anyways well hold on that's actually not true what because I'm in a patron league patreon dot com forward slash pod
