I'm going to take that right off my screen. So this podcast is really, really interesting and I want to give the people at home a little bit of a background then I want to hear you guys discuss how it came about.

Pablo Escobar is a fascinating figure. He was this narco terrorist who basically ran Colombia in the 80s. He was at one point in her house arrest,

but in his mansion he had visitors coming and going. He had a zoo. The hippos

escaped and have now become indigenous to Columbia and killing things

now they don't know what to do about it and they really ran that country like a

gangster regime. I remember one story I had been reading about was a woman from

the Colombian government came to the US and was petitioning Congress or some agent for help and she goes back to her hotel room and she gets a call they go this is where your daughter was at 9 a.m this is where she was at 11 a.m.

and you better believe she got her butt back to Bogota immediately so these people

were not messing around there's also another book called Cocainebography and he met with some of these types.

And the thing that's interesting about them is the author writes, they didn't have horns.

These people don't have cloven hooves. They look like you and me and they engage in the

sort of depravity that you know is beyond the kind of things that any of us

would ever think of and then I hear about this story and there's some connection

between Pablo Escobar and a town in North Carolina.
