All right, everybody, welcome back to another edition of The Te down my name is jeff pluck and i'm

with my co-worker jordan bianchi we are sitting outside in the fan zone at phoenix raceway

it's a lovely evening jordan and uh we have not got to catch up whatsoever since the race ended

it's been go go go, go, go, go.

Several hours ago now, I think it ended.

But Kyle Larson just wrapped up in the media center.

So here we are, time to podcast and time to debrief on the championship day.

Wow, what a day.

What do you think? It was a really, really good good race and at various points multiple various points

i thought all four drivers were going to win the championship and i thought it was a very fitting

finale in that kyle ocean won the championship and the season that he's having is

historic. There is no other way to say it.

Just in NASCAR alone,

let's not even count everything else that's going on with him in racing,

but he beat Denny Hamlin,

who arguably was the second best driver this year,

and then he beat Martin Trex Jr. in third, who I had one of the best driver this year and then he beat martin jerks junior in third who i

had one of the best seasons also and chase that was in the mix too but chase faded at the end it's just

to me looking at this i keep thinking about a column that you wrote back at knoxville was it after the

knoxville where you declared him the greatest american race car driver living right now

and i think that is a very accurate description and i think what he's accomplished even since then

this is a year you're going to look back on like jimmy's 10 wins i mean he won 10 races this year
