This is a high-stakes push to take back territory from Putin's forces in the east and near the land bridge to Crimea.

But the recent leak of U.S. intelligence documents shows that American officials predict that

the operation would have only modest success.

One top secret file from February reads, quote, enduring Ukrainian deficiencies in training and munition supplies probably will

strain progress and exacerbate casualties during the offensive.

That according to the Washington Post, and that document is from two months ago now.
