Summary

Is it the forgotten war, or simply a war we need to look at differently? Let's investigate.

We need to make some things clear. We have to set out the structure and scope of this project, outline what sources we used and of course, talk a bit about how each one of the episodes will be structured. What music will we used? What will Patrons get? What will the series actually look like? This is the place to find out - the Sources and Structure of the series will be learned of here.

You don't NEED to check this episode out, but if you like to be filled in on a variety of details, do check this episode out. Remember of course that I am excited to hear what you think about this - I am super excited to talk and nerd out with you about this conflict. 0:00.0	I'm Hello and welcome, guys, to another introduction episode, this one on the sources and the structure of the Korean War series that we're
0:38.4	going to follow going forward. I hope you guys are still with us after last time. I know as far
0:43.6	as introductions go, this whole process seems a bit unwieldy, but I promise you it's all worth
0:49.0	it. It's to make sure that we're all on the same page when we start. And really I hope to
0:53.8	kind of instill in you guys a sense of, well, excitement really.
0:57.8	There's some real cool stuff on the way, not just because of the sources we're using.

1:03.5	You know, I just, I really had to go with Mash as the kind of introduction theme for this series.
1:13.9	To be honest, I'm not exactly sure how it's going to be taken with the people up in copyright land, but I'm hoping that nothing will really happen.
1:18.9	I'm basically banking on the fact that no one will really listen to this and then no one will
1:22.9	really complain, but then at the same time, if this does blow up because people like the Korean
1:27.3	war, we may be in a bit of trouble, but if the worst comes to the worst, I'll just change it
1:31.6	to the original when the Poncey Fails Music.
1:34.6	But I thought at this stage in the game, it's nice to distinguish our series with things
1:39.3	that, well, make them memorable, and I think there's few things more memorable than suicide is
1:44.8	painless, which is the actual name of the mash theme. Anyway, we're going to get ahead of
1:48.3	ourselves. I just wanted to say a huge thanks again for joining us and to not forget that the next
1:54.2	week is going to be rather chocka block full of content. So if you're looking forward to delving into
1:59.1	the Cold War, then watch out for the
2:00.9	Cold War crash course, which is going to be hitting you guys each day of the first week. So
2:06.0	January 8th, 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th. They'll be each episode will drop on each of those days.
2:12.5	And then by the following one day, we'll be well set up to blast you with more Korean War
