I think I always thought that the song Christmas shoes was the worst Christmas song of all time because it's just so unnecessarily sad.

It's just like, come on man, what are we trying to do here? I mean, it's the holidays. We already got our feels going on and then you try to hit us with this whole thing about this little kid is in line to buy mama some Christmas shoes because she's about to die tonight and they just want mama to be able to wear

these shoes in her casket and you're just like oh my goodness can we just pile on any more

sadness during the holidays? It is next level depression.
