KVJ cuts. So what do you do? You're in a toxic job, but you need it.

And like a little bit of guidance here, this email we got for KVJ Court.

Says, I've been at my job for five years. The last three have been miserable.

I have a coworker who is my partner in projects. This person is lazy and

incompetent and I wind up having to do most of their work too.

And what drives me crazy is that the only effort they put in to the job is trying to make it appear

that they are actually doing valuable work.

Sometimes they take projects that I did most of the work on and

then they pass it off as their own. Oh. I've even confronted them about this but they pretend

like they have no idea what I'm even talking about. My manager is also largely ineffective and her assistant

is one of the biggest bitches I've ever worked for. Oh my gosh you got it all

around you. Company policy is constantly ignored or rewritten to accommodate this assistant

Each day's misery compounds on the last and over the last nine months I have found my nightly glass of wine turning into my nightly bottle of wine.

Well, that's not good.

I have been looking for another job for the last 18 months, and I have found nothing good,

which is adding to my misery. My husband has even mentioned it. He wants

me to just quit my job but my family needs this income and I would feel like a failure if it

went away. Everything's just so expensive today and I feel so trapped.

Other than drink, I just don't know what to do.

Has anyone else ever been in the situation and what did they do?
