You know before Disney kind of invaded Florida and changed the game

there were a lot of smaller little theme parks that have been opened up that have

pretty much since closed you'd have a lot of things not just

your rapids. The mouse stomped out their dreams. It did. Yeah it really did. You

can really kind of see there just some of these places open at the wrong time like

there's a place called Pirates World that was in Fort Lauderdale yeah it

opened up in 1967 it was a 100 acre pirate theme park 15 different rides it had

Dang that's big. Yeah I remember hearing about this we never went to that but there was there was

tales of this yeah they had a pirate ship a roller

coaster there was a log flume they had something called the crow's nest which was a

not sound cheap yeah it was well set up.

The crowsnest was an observation tower

that had originally been at the Belgian aerial tower
