This person wants to know if they should call off their wedding just on one bad suggestion from their fiancé.

Their email says, I am a 28-year-old man who has been with my fiancé for four years now.

Four years. Yesterday at dinner,

my soon-to-be wife brought up the idea of both of us having a hall pass to both sleep with

whoever we wanted just once before our wedding. She argued that it would be healthy for our

relationship and impending marriage if we got all of our desires out of the way and out of our systems.

In the four years that we have been together, I have never once had a thought of being intimate

with anybody else.

And once she saw my reaction, she then tried to walk it back quickly and said, oh, forget about it,

that was stupid.

But I'm not sure exactly how to feel about this whole mess.

On the one hand, I really do love her, but I also feel a sense of betrayal.

I'm not sure if she has a guy in mind or just wants a one-night stand to be with somebody else.

Now, I don't want to overreact to one quick suggestion made after a great four-year relationship.

But this seems like a major issue.

Our entire wedding is pretty much already planned with family friends and other loved ones already invited with a date saved.

My sister thinks I need to call off or postpone the wedding, take a step back from the
