We are in cuffing season right now where a lot of people

get into relationships for the holidays. So maybe you might want to decide if you need to go

through the holidays with somebody or if you're better off alone. And that's what this person is

trying to decide because their boyfriend of the last two years is making a stand

that makes her question whether or not they need to continue to be in a relationship through the

holidays. This will be their second Thanksgiving together coming up and she said last year,

I attended his family gathering. I met everybody for the first time, but it was all great.

So this year, he asked me, well, what do you want to do for Thanksgiving since we did

my families last year?

And I immediately told him, I said, I want us to go volunteer somewhere and serve others.

And without hesitation, he looked at me and he said, that's a horrible idea. Aw. I thought he was joking. And then as I pushed a little bit more, I realized he was not. He said, look, he's like, it's a holiday. It's just a happy time. That's beyond depressing. He said, we should be celebrating the things that we're thankful for. But I fire back and I said, well, that's exactly what I want to do.

I'm expressing that I'm thankful for having all these things by giving them to other people that do not. And I want to serve those who are less fortunate and try to make their day extra special because we have been so blessed. he looked at me and he said yeah i guess you know feel free i'll just be at my parents house let me know when you're done
