This one person want to know, can I hang my ex's art?

Says my ex-boyfriend was an artist and created paintings for me and of me throughout our relationship.

We broke up in late 2021, but I never took down the paintings because honestly, I like them and they're very personal.

Plus I've gotten a lot of positive comments from people who see them.

They're good. Now I've been seeing my current boyfriend James for most of this year and my lease was up

on my place so we decided to try living together. Anyway I hung up three of those

paintings from the X and James started asking a bunch of

questions about him. I was honest and I told him that they were painted for me and

then he said yeah you know what I don't think I want to see those in our home because it's a

reminder of your past relationship. I think he's being a bit ridiculous and he is

wanting me to take them down now. Am I being unreasonable? I have no feelings for my ex anymore but I do really
