Got an email here for KVHA court want to know if they should refuse their brother a place to stay.

It says my brother just got out of prison after serving time for a sex crime involving a woman that he met online.

I truly believe my brother was innocent. He's always sworn he was set up and he insists that the relationship was consensual.

But the court obviously saw it differently.

Now he wants to live with me temporarily to get back on his feet.

But my wife is absolutely against it.

She says having a registered sex offender in our home is too much, especially with our

teenage daughter living with us. I'm torn because he's my brother and I do believe that he was

railroaded, but I also understand my wife's fear. Am I a terrible sibling if I say no? No, you're not because you got to put your wife and your own

family first. That's your true family that actually does matter, not your brother. Amen. And look,

if one of the people out of the husband and the wife that are living in this house don't want a visitor or a guest

or even just somebody dropping by. That is your home. That is your sanctuary. You have to respect

your wife and the fact that she does not want this person. It doesn't matter if it's your brother.

It doesn't matter if it's your mother. It doesn't matter what it is. You've got to respect that because she lives there first. Yeah. And just let

them know. Be like, you know, sorry, I can't do that. It's just, it's would create an environment that's

not healthy in my house and we can't do it. So I trust you. I believe you, but it's just not going to fly. I'll try to help you however I can.

You know, I'll try to maybe give you a little cash here and there if I can afford it.

But you can't disrupt your marriage and your wife on that level.

Yeah, that's a slam dunk no-brainer on that one.
