Now, child endangerment, that is a pretty serious charge.

But is there any way you find any sympathy for 24-year-old Chris Lewis who got arrested

after leaving his three young children alone at a McDonald's in Augusta while

attending a job interview.

He went in and left his kids ages 1, 6, and 10, put the 10 year old in charge and said,

I've got to get a job, I've got to get this interview done.

This is the only thing I have.

Don't bring any attention to you.

But, of course, somebody noticed

that there were three kids of those ages kind of hanging out by themselves and did not see an adult.

Authorities were called. And when Chris came back, he was charged with deprivation of a minor.

So, yeah, look, there are a lot of these child endangerment, child abandonment charges that happen.

I don't really have a lot of sympathy when it's a parent going into a casino or into the bar, and they leave the car running, and they're like, well, I just had to get my drink on.

But this is a problem that I wonder if a lot of parents, and possibly single parents might have an issue with is you're trying

to get gainful employment and it a lot of times requires an in-person interview yet you still

have three kids that you're responsible for and maybe you can't find anybody you don't have family

or whatever or even the money that's why you need a job for a babysitter yeah if i was the cops

i would have shown up and handled it a little different.

I just, I don't know if I would have arrested the guy. Because now what? Now what happens

to these kids? These kids are going to go into the system. I wonder if he would have gone into
