Subscribe to Theron Pete on all podcast platforms. So the reviews that I heard are a little all over the place. That's why I'm kind of curious. What do people really think about this movie?

If you check on Rotten Tomatoes right now, it's got a 65% on the tomato meter. That's more of the

critics, but you wouldn't expect high rankings because they typically don't like Adam Sandler

movies. The popcorn meter of the fans, it's 72%. Okay. So that's pretty much three out of four people like the movie.

Yeah, and I would say I probably have been about 50-50 in what I've heard just in responses.

James, he had said, I watched Happy Gilmore two with my sons, who's 15 this weekend.

We watched the original together a few weeks ago, and he liked it a lot. I think it goes without saying that it's not as good as the original, but this is really solid sequel, especially for being 30 years apart. Great cast, a ton of celebrity cameos. I think there's about 72 different cameos in there. Wow. I'm hearing Eminem crushed it. Okay. That's the main thing I'm hearing,

but I haven't seen it yet. I'm watching it today. Travis Kelsey was in there with the bad

bunny was in there. There's some scene where bad bunny is painting some honey on Travis Kelsey. He

might play the jerk in it. Now, I did not get around to watching it this weekend. I really honestly was kind of holding off. I almost did, but it's just I had a lot of things I had to do this weekend. I'm like, time is really tight. You had to go see the hockey stick golf putter from the first movie. Had to, yes. At the hard rock. You're right. Where it lives.

That's exactly it.

I had to get right there for that.

So yeah, they liked that.

I like the storyline. There were quite a few scenes that both me and my son were laughing out loud about. I think we were smiling through almost the whole movie. there were a few very far-fetched scenes as usual,

which you would expect and Adam Sandler,

but overall we really enjoyed it.
