All of these people in my life I can desert.

I'm feeling all pissed off and hurt.

I need to know if I am the jerk.

So those persons want to know if they are a jerk for giving their in-laws the same house rules that they were given.

It says they're in their email.

It says, I dated my wife for four years before we were

married earlier this year.

As we dated and even after we were engaged, I always was told that I needed to sleep in a

separate room when we went to her parents' house, even though my wife and I already

had lived together

at the time in our own place. So this would be our first Thanksgiving as a married couple at her

parents' house. I thought, okay, cool. I finally get to sleep in the same bed as my wife. I however was not.

My father-in-law explained that it was my daughter's childhood room and that innocence

will remain that way in that room. Well, little does he know that we've actually already

gotten it on several times in that room already without you guys knowing. Now that should

have been what you told him on Thanksgiving. He bit his tongue through a lot of this stuff.

And this was kind of the internal fight.

You ever seen that where you kind of go to somebody's parents' house and you're just, you pull in the other room and you're putting my foot down. You're running into the other room and fighting about their parents and then you're running back out and try to smile. It sounded like this is what was going on all weekend long. And I think the dad has just some kind of ax to grind with his son-in-law now.

Yeah, I get it.

of my daughter's room by sleeping in the same room with her. And he's like, wait, what? So here he is. He said, I was livid. And I was very proud of myself that I actually didn't erupt in that moment. Yes. I did when I got time, tell my wife that I was not going to tolerate that level of disrespect. And I had actually planned on coming home early. I said, you know what? Uh-uh. I'm out of here. She convinced me to stay. And I slept in the same old guest room that I always did when we were dating.
