All of these people in my life I can desert.

I'm feeling all pissed off and hurt.

I need to know if I am the jerk.

Okay, this is an odd little thing to be in trouble for sitting next to your husband at a wedding.

Now, it says here in the email they said it says, I went to my friend's wedding recently,

and I'm still not sure if I was totally out of line or if the bride was just being extra.

When I got to the reception, I realized half the guests weren't sitting with their dates.

The bride had set up this mix and mingle seating concept.

So everyone was paired with strangers instead.

So I got in there, I'm like, what is going on here?

I'm like, this is so weird.

Like, if you invite people as couples, shouldn't they at least get to sit together?

I've never heard of this.

So my husband and I were at separate tables.

And I'm sitting there and it just felt awkward.

I didn't know anybody, no conversations going on.

So I ended up asking the person sitting next to my husband if they would mind switching spots with me. And they're like,

yeah, sure, no problem. So we swapped, no drama. So I thought. But then after the wedding, the bride

gets a hold of me and calls me out for, quote, disrespecting her vision. She said if I didn't like

the seating plan, I should have just left. And now I'm wondering, was I wrong for switching seats so I could sit with my husband?

Or was her set up just too much?
