am I the jerk for restricting my mother-in-law from watching our son?

Says here, my in-laws are in their late 70s, and my mother-in-law has issues with her vision,

plus she also has issues with shaking.

She couldn't pass the vision test to get her driver's license when she moved Florida last year so she went to her ophthalmologist who gave her special permission to exempt her.

How can you even do this?
