Katrina wanted to know on this one. I had to handle this nice guy in the neighborhood.

He wanted to give my daughter who started her dog walking service over the Christmas

break some extra money by watching his dog. Well, my daughter left her earbuds out on her nightstand,

not knowing that this was a dog that would chew on things and the dog got the earbuds off the

nightstands, started chewing on them, damaged the brand new ones.

It was her Christmas present too, and she's crushed. I didn't have insurance because I got them off

of Facebook marketplace. Now I feel kind of bad here. My daughter's destroyed, and I don't have the

money to replace the earbuds. Am I a jerk if I ask the dog owner to? I feel kind of bad even mention it to him, but I don't know what to do.
