about how to quickly identify the strongest leaders in any organization.

I looked at the general managers,

65 general managers that reported to me,

and I looked at who are the leaders, who are the managers. And I asked the simple questions now based on that.

When I, for instance, visited the hotel, I said, okay, what will you do with, what will you

accomplish with your hotel over the next year?

And the manager would answer, well, if I had a bigger ballroom or if my restaurant wouldn't be in the same,

or if I was a little closer to downtown, if this and this, they made excuses for a vision that they didn't have.

Leaders have vision, purpose.

And when I ask a leader, so what will it do with the hotel?

And I give you one answer, one of them gave me,

well, you can check me out.

Within a year, we will be known,

will be the pride of the city.

Well, that's a leader leader because he has a vision

and obviously he could have to be the best so you you that then isn't an important identification

that many other things you want in a leader however that is a key element if they don't have that

...
