Summary

In an up-and-down weekend for the Detroit Red Wings, we saw the worst and best of Hockeytown's special teams, lead protection, and play from key players.

Tune in as we open by discussing the blown lead & loss in Chicago, including how Zadina, Copp, and Raymond fared, Larkin's injury scare, Nedeljkovic's performance, and more (7:23).

We also break down the complete 180 against Anaheim, as Detroit blew them out at home, highlighted by yet another massive night from Dominik Kubalik, a strong performance from Ville Husso, Dylan Larkin looking no worse for wear, Perron's great shot, Chiarot the Bully, & more (27:30)! We also highlight Detroit's perfect penalty kill and iffy power play that shone against Anaheim, as well as some notable records and statistics (44:15).

As the Red Wings & Adidas released their Reverse Retro jerseys, we debated whether the black and red "barber pole" jerseys suited the history of Hockeytown, what it might have been, and what jersey suppliers should do in the future (47:43).

Finally, we take a look at some stories across hockey & the NHL, including turmoil in Vancouver, Connor Bedard, Arber Xhekaj, Cossa's 1st win, and lots more (59:48)! #LGRW

0:39.2

They deserve their place on there and it has Mo Sider, called her winner, you know, best player for the Redwoods last season.

0:45.2

And then it has Philip Peronic. I have nothing against Philip Peronic.

0:51.0

But tell me why, after everything they went through last season, that was not Jordan,

0:56.3

Osterley, or Danny De Kaiser on that towel.

0:58.8

They deserve that damn spot.

1:01.8

They were asked to play first pairing defense when they, we, the Red Wings, my dog, everyone

1:09.4

knew damn well that that shouldn't have been their role and they still did it to the best of their ability.

1:13.6

Did it always go well? No, but hey they didn't ask to be put in that position.

Osterley or decizer on that towel.

1:25.0

I'd have put Oly O'Levi personally.
