Cats win the governor's cup for the fourth straight year 26 13 beating the Louisville

0:21.8

Cardinals in a game that had us all in Kentucky very very happy the cats get a big win and

0:28.2

I'd like to hear from you 8 5 9 2 8 0 22 87 we will talk about the game. We're also

0:33.7

going to talk obviously about the season. What's next? What the bold possibilities are? A lot

0:39.3

of things to discuss and we'll go through them. But let's start with the game. I thought

0:43.6

it was a great performance from Kentucky overall probably the best game Kentucky's played

0:48.3

since the Mississippi State Games defensively. I thought they were great throughout the game.

0:53.8

I know they gave up the two scores but they also got big stops when they needed to. I thought

0:59.4

they controlled Louisville in a lot of different ways and you could make a strong argument.

1:04.7

Kentucky should have had more than 26 points offensively. So I thought the defense did exactly

1:09.8

what they needed to do to get the victory. Brad White deserves a lot of credit for

1:14.2

scheming up a really solid game plan and getting the victory three interceptions a fumble

1:20.1

recovery. You know that's that's what Louisville does to other people and we did it to them

1:25.3

with no turnovers of our own. That's how you win a football game and so a lot of credit

1:30.8

to our defense for really playing well on that side of the ball. I didn't really understand

1:35.3

you available offensively. They were able to run more effectively on us than I would

1:40.0

have thought they're one touchdown drive. They basically just ran it down our throat and

1:44.7

yet they kept throwing and I don't know why they did not have you know they did not have

1:50.8

a good a good passing attack. The quarterback especially when Malik was at not out there

1:57.7

he threw some terrible passes. I do not understand why they decided to get away from the

2:04.1

run game but they did and Kentucky obviously made the plays they need to offensively.
